Leadership Team

CONNIE COFFEY has been Executive Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since June 2014. Previously she was Executive Vice President and Corporate Controller from 2012 to 2014. She was Senior Vice President, Accounting and Reporting, from 2002 to 2012. She served as Vice President, Non-Public Financing and Reporting, in 2002; Vice President, Structured Finance and Reporting, from 2000 to 2002; and, Assistant Vice President, Treasury, Operations and Reporting, in 1999. Prior to joining the company, Mrs. Coffey was an audit manager for PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

RICHARD (RICK) GOKENBACH has been Executive Vice President and Treasurer since April 2018. He was previously responsible for debt capital markets, asset liability management, and financial planning and analysis functions. He joined the Company in 2013 , and prior to his Treasury roles, was Senior Vice President of Pricing and Product Development where he helped spearhead GM Financial’s captive strategy initiative in the U.S. Before joining GM Financial, Gokenbach worked for Ally Bank (previously GMAC), serving in multiple Treasury and Finance roles over his more than 10 years there.

Chitra Herle is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for GM Financial. Chitra is a strategic thinker, steering transformational, enterprise-wide initiatives to accelerate business performance and drive competitive advantages. With more than 20 years of IT and auto finance industry experience, she leads GM Financial’s global IT team, building high-functioning, innovative teams with an inclusive mindset. Before joining the company in January 2023, Chitra held senior leadership positions at CapitalOne (Auto Finance, Retail Bank, Investing), CBRE and Silicon Valley Bank.

DOUG JOHNSON has been Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer since July 2013. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Associate Counsel from 2004 to 2013. He served as Vice President and Associate Counsel from 2001 to 2004 and was Assistant Vice President and Associate Counsel from 2000 to 2001. Before joining GM Financial, Mr. Johnson served as in-house counsel at Mercedes Benz Credit and Chrysler Financial. Prior to that time, he was engaged in private legal practice primarily handling matters representing financial institutions.

Andrew Rose has been a part of GM Financial as Executive Vice President and President of General Motors Insurance since 2022. Before joining GM Financial, Andrew was Vice President, Insurance Innovation for General Motors from January 2020 to May 2022. Andrew is an insurance industry veteran, bringing more than 20 years of auto insurance and finance experience to the company.

MIKE URRUTIA has been Executive Vice President and Chief Experience Officer since January 2023. Previously, he was Executive Vice President, Dealer Services Operations, from 2021-2022, and Senior Vice President, Dealer Services – Operational Support, from 2010-2021. Mike spent more than 15 years with GM Financial’s legacy business, AmeriCredit, where he helped establish a National Credit Center, spearheaded the integration of newly acquired companies and held leadership roles in Sales and Credit Operations, Dealer Services Administration and Funding Administration. 

KELLY WYATT has been Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer since November 2022. Previously, she was Senior Vice President, IT Services, from 2020-2022; Vice President, IT Services, from 2015-2020; and Assistant Vice President, IT Services, from 2013-2015. Before transitioning to IT, Kelly spent 12 years in Commercial Lending and Vendor Management leadership roles. Kelly is responsible for building the digital organization and strategy, and championing a digital mindset across the company. Over the course of her 21-year career with the company, she has gained extensive experience in both operational and technical capacities.

SCOTT DISHMAN has been Executive Vice President, Servicing since April 2012. Previously, he was Senior Vice President, Corporate Collections and Loss Mitigation, from 2005 to 2012. He served as Vice President, Center Operations, from 2003 to 2005; Vice President, Consumer Services and Collections from 1999 to 2003; and Assistant Vice President Collections Consumer Segment, from 1998 to 1999. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Dishman held various positions in credit and collections at Ford Credit from 1993 to 1998.

Erik Haven has been Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer since December of 2021. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, HR Business Partners. He joined GM Financial in 2017 and is a seasoned HR professional. He has more than 20 years of Human Resources experience in the global manufacturing, life sciences, and financial services industries.

JONAS HOLLANDSWORTH has been Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer – North America since January 2020. Previously, he was Executive Vice President, U.S. Sales and Credit Operations, from 2011 to 2020, and Senior Vice President, U.S. Regional Sales and Credit Operations, from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, he held the positions of Vice President, Branch Originations, from 2005 to 2008, and Vice President and Assistant Vice President in Financial Planning and Analysis from 2001 to 2005. He joined the company in 1999 as a Budget Analyst. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Hollandsworth was a financial analyst for Citigroup (formerly The Associates) and Northrop Grumman.

MIKE KANARIOS has been Chief Strategy Officer since July 2017. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, International Operations, from July 2015 until he transitioned to his current role. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer, International Operations, from 2009 to 2015; Treasurer for International Operations from 2008 to 2009; and CFO, Latin American Automotive Finance, from 2006 to 2008. Before joining the company in 2006, he spent nine years with General Motors, holding a number of leadership positions in treasury, finance, and mergers and acquisitions. His last role at GM was Controller of GM North America.

SUSAN SHEFFIELD has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since April 2018. She previously served as Executive Vice President and Treasurer, a role she assumed in June 2014. Prior to that, she served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance, from 2008 to 2014. She served as Senior Vice President, Structured Finance, from 2004 to 2008 and Vice President, Structured Finance, from 2003 to 2004. Ms. Sheffield joined the company in 2001 as part of the Investor Relations department. Prior to joining the company, she worked in corporate and commercial banking for 13 years, primarily for JPMorgan and Wells Fargo Bank.

JIMMY VANCE became Chief Pricing and Analytics Officer in January 2020. He is responsible for data sciences globally, as well as North America pricing analytics, residual management and product development. He also supports global special projects. Previously, Jimmy was Executive Vice President and Chief Risk and Pricing Officer, North America Operations, from 2018 through 2019. Before that, he was Executive Vice President, Pricing Analytics and Product Development, from 2011 to 2017 and Senior Vice President, Pricing and Product Development, from 2010 to 2011; Senior Vice President and Operations Controller from 2006 to 2010; Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis, from 2001 to 2006; and, held other financial planning and analysis positions in Dealer Services since joining the company in 1998.
